NUBU FALL '15

The AW15 collection of NUBU was inspired by Vera Molnár’s tetragonal constructions; fabrics, forms and colors all evoke the painter’s works. The determining pieces are made of textiles that are woven spatially chequered, are quilted in squares, or printed with expressionist patterns; while the impression of graphic drawings are visualized by fringed surfaces. The geometry of the square appears in cuts, the form of pockets and collars, in plies, the forms of bags; belts are crossed under the wide plies, and the fur coats are constructed of square pieces. In addition to plies, ribbon appliqués make pieces look more spatial.
