Designer Adél Kovács was born in 1987, in Budapest, Hungary. She inherited her creativity and love for clothes from her mother, who worked as a theatre costume designer. Adél graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design with a master’s degree in knitwear and fashion design, then completed her studies with menswear design at London College of Fashion, one of the most prestigious fashion schools. She earned her first professional experience at London based Marios Schwab, one of the most renowned young designer labels. Following her internship, she worked as a designer assistant for Korean fashion designer Eudon Choi in London. Adél currently works as a designer for the women, men and accessory lines of NUBU. Her style is characterized by minimalism and functionality, with a mix of sporty and elegant designs. When designing, she always considers sustainability and conscious creation. With its holiday collection in 2013, NUBU won the title of professional fashion brand of the year at the competition organized by Central European Fashion Days.
